The Best Fish Tacos
- 4 Mahi-Mahi fillets, cut into three long strips each
- 2 cups Amalia's Cocina Tamale Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons cooking oil
- Cooking spray
- Shredded lettuce
- Chopped tomatoes
- Chopped onion
- Sour cream
- Mexican blend cheese
- Mexican Cabbage
- 1 dozen corn tortillas
Take each fillet and cut into three long strips each. In large bowl or baking dish, add sauce, oil and fish, mix well. Let marinate in refrigerator one hour.
Spray outdoor grill generously with cooking spray. Heat outdoor grill to high, then when ready to put your fish on, turn to medium. Cook fish just until cooked through, turning once, total cooking time should only be around 6 minutes.
Take fish off grill, add tortillas to quickly warm.
Put one strip of fish on each tortilla, top with Mexican condiments and cabbage.
