Chili Colorado Beans


  • 2 tbls cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green pasilla pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 2- 15 oz cans Red Kidney Beans, drained
  • 1- 15 oz can Black Beans, drained
  • 1- 32 oz can pinto beans with jalapenos, undrained
  • 2-12 oz jars Amalia's Cocina Chili Colorado Sauce

In large pot add first four ingredients. Saute until tender, approximately 5 minutes over medium heat. Add next four ingredients and stir well. Cook on medium until almost comes to a boil, turn to low and let simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve hot with your favorite Mexican condiments.
